An Argument against the Act of Plagiarism

Nowadays, Universities are accepting plagiarism - with someone else's words or
ideas without giving appropriate credit to the writer of the original - and are
currently fighting against it. In the best-case situation, teachers may choose
to award a.ero mark for a class or a newspaper; at the worst case, Faculties may
fail the entire degree or expel the student.
This article has been written specifically for those students who've been accused of plagiarism, but who believe that they aren't guilty. The article offers some advice to these students on how to safeguard their position. At the exact same time, it should be said that the article is supplied for information purposes only, as we do not give legal advice.

This is applicable to foreign students for whom English isn't the primary language. Usually, teachers can easily identify the postings, as the text seems too great\.olished and wealthy in academic jargon and expert phraseology. If this is the case, your approach of defence could be to say that you asked a native speaker to proofread your work before submitting it so as to make it more professional and reader-friendly.
This is totally legal, especially taking into account the simple fact that lots of Universities would penalise English language mistakes. Some attempt to state, when captured, that the friend who proofread the newspaper amended the work and that he or she contained several ideas without referencing them. This, nevertheless, is really a strategy, so you should be careful about using it.If you are accused of submitting a newspaper obtained from an essay bank, a service which offers pre-written papers to students, your best defence would be to admit the fact, but claim that you had written the newspaper yourself and then given or donated it to the essay bank.
In other words, you were not using anyone else's ideas, but your own, as the newspaper found at the essay bank is your creation. In the majority of cases, it might be problematic to disprove that, as they might have to know the specific date when the coursework was offered to the specific article bank, which might necessitate co-operation and good will from the firms. The latter, however, are usually rather cautious in these matters. Sometimes, you could realise that you have plagiarised before getting the feedback from your tutor. In that case, it would be a good idea to approach your tutor quickly and inform him that you just submitted an incorrect copy of the newspaper. Try to contact him about it so that you have some material proof in case you may want it to support your position. Ultimately, you should always remember that, whatever you do, you will need to remain cool, calm and composed at the meeting with the tutor or commission. Be confident, determined, but consistently polite, as arrogant behaviour will only do you disservice.
